Hybrid exchangers

Hybrid exchangers are stainless steel all-welded plate exchangers with cross-flow arrangement of the working fluid flow. They comprise steel casing and plate core. The stainless steel plates are consecutively arranged. Hot and cold fluid flows separated in tubes embedded between the plates. Hybrid exchangers are most suitable for steam - fluid and fluid - fluid applications.

Plate heat exchangers

Plate heat exchangers consist of molded stainless steel plates arranged in row. Hot and cold fluid flows separately in tubes embedded between the plates. Each plate is streamlined by the hot working fluid on one side and by the cold working fluid on the other side. Plate heat exchangers are most suitable for fluid - fluid applications. All-welded or semi-welded plate exchangers can also be employed as condensers. Plates’ moulding may come in several shapes such as H, L, M, V, W to fit best the exchanger’s final utilization in field. The plate exchangers may have counter-flow or parallel-flow arrangement of the working fluid flow directions.

Railway and mobile applications

Our product portfolio comprises special coolers for railway and mobile applications including those designed for extreme cooling conditions set out by the clients. In most cases they are special assemblies designed to client’s requirements, production of which engages high flexibility of our staff. Typically cooling towers, cooling locomotive cells and coolers fall within this segment of products. All equipment is subject of heat and impact stress factory tests and its fixing points are always adjusted according to specific requirements of each application.

Fluid heaters OVF, CVZA

Fluid heaters consist of distributing and collection manifolds with galvanized finned tubes built between them. Finns are made of carbon steel or aluminum alloy. Fluid heaters are used for heating of air in ventilation systems. Working fluid flows inside finned tubes streamlined by air.

Fluid coolers

Fluid coolers consist of distributing and collecting manifolds with galvanized finned tubes built between them. Finns are made of carbon steel, aluminum alloy, stainless steel or copper. Fluid heaters are used for heating of air in ventilation systems. Working fluid flows inside finned tubes streamlined by air. For atypical projects we offer more combination variants of heat transfer surface.

Steam heaters

Steam heaters consist of distributing and collecting manifolds with galvanized finned tubes built between them. Finns are made of carbon steel or aluminum alloy. Steam heaters are used for heating of air in ventilation systems. In most cases the working fluid is steam, which is condensing inside the finned tubes streamlined by air.

Condensers

Condenser is a specific type of heat exchanger in which gaseous phase of a fluid is changing its state into liquid phase through heating of another separated working fluid.

Shell tube exchangers

Shell & tube exchangers consist of cylindrical shell inside of which bunch of tubes is mounted. One working fluid flows inside the tubes while the other working fluid streamlines the tubes being in the shell. Shell and tube exchangers are used for fluid - fluid or fluid - steam systems. Shell and tube exchangers may have counter flow or parallel flow arrangement of the working fluid flow direction.

Fume and other special exchangers

Following on special design requirements and space constrains to be coped with on some challenging projects we have shaped and produced special types of heat exchangers.

The design of these bespoke exchangers includes targeted heat and strength calculations.

This product segment is typically represented by various types of fume exchangers of high capacity using working fluids of high temperature. Fume exchangers are extreme products that have to cope with high thermal and structural stress.

 

We offer special exchangers to be used in machine assemblies such as big compressors, pipe assemblies, coolers of turbo generators or turbines. Our portfolio includes mobile models of special exchangers covering a sector of coolers using seawater as working fluid. We are often appointed to deliver a combination of special exchangers together with design and calculation of air blowers and forced cooling, which we are able to design and produce as a part of our services. It is a matter of good practice in our firm to team up with the designers, investors and clients from the early project phases to the final production phase.

Screw exchangers

Screw exchangers consist of cylindrical casing inside of which small diameter tubes are rolled up to form counter-flow spirals. Cold working fluid usually flows inside the tubes and hot working fluid flows inside the cylindrical casing. As a rule screw exchangers are used for liquid - liquid and steam - fluid applications. Exchanger typically works with counter-flow arrangement of working fluid flow direction.

Bolted joint exchangers

Bolted joint exchangers are formed by a row of plates pulled together and squeezed between main and pressing plate by means of bolts. There are sealing gaskets between the plates creating channels in which cold and hot working fluid flows separately. Each plate is streamlined by the hot working fluid on one side and by the cold working fluid on the other side. Bolted joint exchangers are exclusively used in fluid - fluid applications. Plates’ moulding may come in several shapes such as H, L, M, V, W to fit best the exchanger’s final field utilization. The bolted joint exchangers may have counter-flow or parallel-flow arrangement of the working fluid flow directions.
